The sooner you can train your body to wake up earlier, the better off you’ll be.

Waking up early will be hard but I promise you once you get the hang of it, you will have more energy and an eagerness to take on the day.

By waking up earlier, you not only have more time in the morning to eat breakfast, you’ll also have more time to exercise. So often we become entranced in our daily lives that we forget to take care of ourselves. Working out in the morning is one of the best ways to start your day. With a sound body, comes a sound mind, giving you the ability to crush your day.

The earliest risers in the world are also the most successful people in the world. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Waking up early enhances your ability to be productive. Try waking up 30 minutes earlier everyday and you’ll soon begin to see how it will change your life.  By waking up 30 minutes earlier everyday, you’ll have an extra 210 minutes every week (3.5 hours), an extra 910 minutes every month (15 hours), and an extra 10,920 minutes every year (182 hours). By setting your alarm every morning just 30 minutes earlier than your normal time, you’ll have an extra 7 and a half days throughout the course of one year to develop effective habits of highly successful people.

Wake up earlier, set a routine that works best for you, and I promise you your future self will thank you for it.

Goal setting is a essential part of waking up early. You want to be using your time effectively, not watching tv. Understanding how to set goals for yourself will change how you live your daily life.

Setting goals for yourself allows you to focus on what is most important to you and it gives you the motivational energy you need to work when your ability to focus diminishes. Goals have this ability to propel you forward and hold you accountable for personal failure.

The most important thing in goal setting is that you write it down.

Take 5 minutes right now to set three goals that you want to achieve this month
. Setting goals is making a promise to yourself and only you can determine the outcome. There is no greater feeling than being able to measure your personal and professional progress.

Here should be your takeaway:

1. Write down weekly goals

2. Wake up 30 minutes earlier everyday for two weeks straight

3. Make someone smile once a day
